The rear view of a Toyota Land Cruiser

The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser artfully combines the classic and the cutting-edge, with heritage-inspired styling, legendary off-road capability, a powerful hybrid powertrain, and an abundance of tech features. From capability to convenience, let’s take a look at a few of the Land Cruiser’s most impressive features.

1. i-FORCE MAX Hybrid Powertrain

The 2025 Land Cruiser uses hybrid technology to achieve its best fuel efficiency ever, with an EPA-estimated 23 MPG combined rating. Even with this impressive efficiency, the Land Cruiser puts out 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, so you can tow up to 6,000 lbs. and take on all types of terrain with help from the full-time 4-wheel drive system. Drive Mode Select tailors the powertrain’s response with modes including Sport, Eco, Normal, and Snow.

2. Comfortable and Convenient Cabin

No matter what’s happening outside, the Land Cruiser’s cabin keeps you and up to four other passengers comfortable with heated front seats and three-zone automatic climate control with a separate second-row control panel. Twelve cup and bottle holders are conveniently located throughout the cabin, and a generous 46.2 cu. ft. of cargo space makes room for all your gear. For up to 82.1 cu. ft. of storage, just fold one or both sides of the 60/40 split rear seat.

3. Remote Connect

No matter how far you roam from your Land Cruiser, you can stay connected to it with your smartwatch or smartphone and an included 1-year subscription to Remote Connect. When you need to find your way back to your vehicle, just check the Toyota app to locate its position on a map. After a long day outside in the elements, you can even remotely start your Land Cruiser so it’s comfortable as soon as you get inside.

4. Blind Spot Monitor

The Land Cruiser comes standard with a long list of advanced safety features to help you detect and respond to your surroundings. Included in this list is a Blind Spot Monitor, which warns you when there’s another vehicle in your blind spot, so you can change lanes with confidence. This system also includes Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, which alerts you when a vehicle is approaching from the sides while you’re operating the Land Cruiser in reverse.

5. Crawl Control

When you need extra assistance taking on tricky terrain, turn on the Land Cruiser’s standard Crawl Control. This system can automatically maintain a low speed so you can focus your attention on steering. For assistance on a steep decline, the Land Cruiser also comes with Downhill Assist Control to regulate your speed.
